Ticket Terms and Conditions

Collab Developments Limited trading as Tiny House Expo.

Conditions of Entry 

All ticket holders could be required to show ID to enter the event .   

 

Cancellation Policy

Unless indicated otherwise in the event's specific cancellation policy, there will be no refunds. 

If Tiny House Expo cancel the event you will receive a full refund. If the event is postponed your ticket will be transferred to the new event date.

Speaker or Topic Change

Please note that while speakers and topics were confirmed at the time of publishing, circumstances beyond the control of the organisers may necessitate substitutions, alterations or cancellations of the speakers and/or topics. As such, Tiny House Expo reserves the right to alter or modify the advertised speakers and/or topics if necessary without liability. Any substitutions or alterations will be updated on our web page as soon as possible.

 

Event Date or Location Change

The location, timing, format, purpose, and all other aspects of the event are determined at the sole discretion of Collab Developments Limited. Tiny House Expo may change any aspect of the event, including without limitation the location, timing, format date, and purpose, where it considers it is reasonably necessary to do so.

 

Limitation of Liability

Except as set out above, Tiny House Expo is not responsible for any loss or damage or illness as a result of a substitution, alteration or cancellation/postponement of an event. Tiny House Expo shall assume no liability whatsoever in the event this event is cancelled, rescheduled or postponed due to a fortuitous event, Act of God, unforeseen occurrence or any other event that renders performance of this event impracticable, illegal or impossible. For purposes of this clause, a fortuitous event shall include, but not be limited to: war, fire, labour strike, medical pandemic, extreme weather or other emergency.

 

Visual and Audio Recording Rights

All visual and audio recording rights before, during and after the Expo are reserved to Tiny House Expo or its affiliates. Any displayed item within Your Space may be recorded by Tiny House Expo or its affiliates for future use. Your Space, exhibit and personnel may be recorded by Tiny House Expo or its affiliates before, during or after the open hours of the Tiny House Expo for any Tiny House Expo or its affiliates uses.

 

Third Party Events

Tiny House Expo may act as a media or promotional partner for other event providers. This does not constitute endorsement of that event or company or its products. Nor does it transfer any liability to Tiny House Expo for the event, its content or attendees. You should check that provider’s Cancellation and Event policies with the provider.​

Image release

We often take photographs at events for marketing purposes. By attending an event, you are giving Tiny House Expo permission to use images in which you may be present. It is understood these images may be used for promotional, news and online/multimedia, purposes by and for Collab Developments Limited. Attendees agree that they are not entitled to remuneration, residuals, royalties or any other payment from Tiny House Expo in respect of their image/likeness or its use. In addition, these images may be shared and stored on third-party platforms. Should you not wish to appear in any images, please notify the photographer at the event or email info@tinyhouseexpo.nz.

Collab Developments Limited (we, us, our) complies with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 (the Act) when dealing with personal information.  Personal information is information about an identifiable individual (a natural person).

This policy sets out how we will collect, use, disclose and protect your personal information.

We may change this policy by uploading a revised policy onto the website.  The change will apply from the date that we upload the revised policy.

Tiny House Expo reserves the right to refuse admission or evict a ticket holder if they are engaging in inappropriate behaviour that compromises the health, safety, welfare or enjoyment of staff or attendees. 

Event Content

Tiny House Expo reserve the right to make changes to the program of an event, for example to timings and/or speakers if one of the advertised speakers is unable to attend. In such cases, you will not be entitled to a refund if you cancel your place.

Our Liability

Event attendees shall be required to keep their personal belongings with them at all times and we accept no liability for damage to, or loss of, personal belongings. Tiny House Expo do not accept any responsibility for any loss (including, without limitation, theft) of any property occasioned on our premises or at external venues save for any damage caused by our negligence in which circumstances our liability shall be limited to the amount of our insurance for such losses.

 

Disclaimer of Liability

Tiny House Expo disclaims any and all warranties whether expressed or implied, including, but not limited to, any implied warranties of merchant ability or fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. Tiny House Expo makes no representation or warranties, express or implied, concerning the number of people or exhibitors who will attend The Tiny House Expo or any other activities or functions or any other matters. in no event shall Tiny House Expo be liable for any incidental, indirect, special, punitive or consequential damages of any kind, including, but not limited to, lost revenue or profits regardless of the form of action whether in contract, tort (including negligence), or otherwise, even if The Tiny House Expo has been advised of the possibility of such damages. in no event shall the maximum liability of Tiny House Expo exceed the cost of the ticket paid.

By purchasing a ticket to the Tiny House Expo or Tiny House Dinner you agree to all our Terms & Conditions. This Agreement shall be governed in accordance with the laws of New Zealand without giving effect to any choice or conflicts of law. The parties agree to submit to the NZ Court System, for disputes relating to, or concerning this Agreement.
